Kutch Wild Life of Gujarat

  • WILD ASS SANCTUARY

    This animal find two places in India. One at Ladak & at Kutch. This ass have height about 200 cms (4ft) length about 300 cms (6ft) and weight about 200 kgs. In runs about 60 miles per hour. Average life span is 20 years. Now, more than 2500 wild ass finds in small Rann of Kutch. Wild ass sanctuary situated at village Bajana, Malvan cross road ( Viramgam Rly Station ) Kutch Highway which is about 90 kws away from Ahmadabad state capital of Gujarat.
  • NARAYAN SAROVAR SANCTUARY(Lakhpat)

    This is famous for Chinkara is about 65 cms height. The mammals is ideally suited to the desert and survive without water. This sanctuary spread over 440 sq. kms. The sanctuary is closed for visitors from 15th June to 15th October. Permission needed from forest department.
  • NALIYA BUSTER SANCTUARY (NALIYA)

    This sanctuary is spread over 200 sq. kms Great Indian Bustard is main attraction of this sanctuary. Along the coast specially at salt-pans flamingos, spoonbills, ibises, herons and shore birds find. This sanctuary situated about 110 kms from Bhuj and 20 kms from Naliya.
  • CHARI FULAY RESERVE FOREST (BANNI)

    Thousan of Birds are visiting this area during winter season. No approach road to go this area.
  • WHITE DESERT CHOBARI (Vaghad)

    You can enjoy camel safari. It is dangerous to go alone. Full moon (Sharadpurnima) night is attraction. From Dholavira to Chobari is good but not recommended for stranger. Keep sufficient quantity of drinking water.
  • MADHAPOR KHATROD LUCY HILLS - TAPAKESHWARI (Bhuj)
